Family Circle Cup Seeking National Anthem Singers
Much like the Charleston RiverDogs, the Family Circle Cup is searching for some National Anthem singers to perform from March 29th until April 6th at this year’s tennis tournament in Daniel Island.
For the fourth year, the tournament, in a partnership with Cumulus Radio, is requesting online video submissions from interested parties. A total of five singers will be chosen to perform the National Anthem in front of thousands at the 42nd Family Circle Cup.
Submissions are currently being accepted but only until midnight on March 16th.
If you’d like to enter, you must:
- Record a video audition, no longer than two minutes.
- Upload the video to YouTube.
- Log-on to any of the Cumulus radio stations websites: http://95SX.com, http://NashFM969.com, http://WTMA.com, http://Z93Jamz.com, http://Magic1073FM.com and access the submission form.
- Provide the link to your YouTube audition video.
Ten finalists will be chosen to move on to the final round where the winners will be determined by an online vote. Online voting will start at 12 pm on Wednesday, March 19th, on the aforementioned Cumulus radio station websites. Voting concludes on Tuesday, March 25th at 6 pm.
The five winners will be announced on Wednesday, March 26th.
