11th Annual St. Paddy’s Day Block Party & Parade
The 11th Annual St. Paddy’s Day Block Party & Parade in Park Circle, likely the biggest St. Patrick’s Day celebration in the Charleston area, will be held on Saturday, March 15th from noon until 7:00 pm. The event is located on East Montague Avenue between Virginia and Jenkins Avenues.
As usual, the party begins with the parade at noon. It will start at Park Place East will proceed down East Montague Avenue.
The Block Party follows and will feature live music on three stages, street vendors, food, drinks, and wares from area businesses. There will also be a Kid’s Zone with jump castles, a fire truck, face painting, and more.
Band’s scheduled to perform include: Charleston Hot Shots, The V-Tones, High Gravity Jazz Band, Lizzy Pitch, Folkgrass, The Three Dudes, The Ryan Perry Band, Karl Byrne, Don Merckle & the Blacksmiths, and Wadata.
The best part? The party, parade, and parking are all free!
