***UPDATE, 3/27/14***: Due to the high probability of severe thunderstorms, the Folly Beach Sea & Sand Festival has been postponed to the weekend of April 11-13.

The 24th Annual Folly Beach Sea & Sand Festival is scheduled for the weekend of March 28th and there will be plenty to do out on The Edge of America. The event is family-friendly, dog-friendly and benefits the Folly Beach Parks & Recreation Department and the city’s renourishment program.

Friday, 3/28/14

• 6:30 pm: Miss Folly Beach Pageant – Folly River Park
• 7 pm: Moonlight Mixer – Folly Beach Fishing Pier

Saturday, 3/29/14

• 8 am: ESA Tides Kickoff Classic Surfing Competition
• 9 am: Coffin Island 5K – Folly Beach Fishing Pier
• 10 am – 5 pm: Street Party – Center Street
  • Local Food
  • Art & Crafts Vendors
  • All Day Live Music from: Rollin’ in the Hay, Weigh Station, The Rusty Hook Ramblers, Guilt Ridden Troubadour and more TBA
  • Arts in the Park
  • Carnival Games
  • Jump Castles/Kids Activities
  • Silent Auction

Sunday 3/30/14

• 8 am: ESA Tides Kickoff Classic Surfing Competition Finals
• 12 pm – 6 pm: Concert Finale at Tides Hotel/BLU
• 1 pm: Coffin Island Sand Sculpting Contest
• 3 pm: Final Concert featuring the Lonnie Hamilton Jazz Band
