Lowcountry Cajun Festival Set for April 6th
The bayous of Louisiana will be returning to the James Island County Park on Sunday, April 6th for the annual Lowcountry Cajun Festival. The party starts at noon and will feature Zydeco music, Cajun/Creole food, children’s activities, a crawfish-eating contest and more.
Some of the food that will be available for purchase include: jambalaya, alligator, etouffe, andouille sausage, and crawfish. Not a fan of New Orleans-styled cuisine? There are also plenty of other options available.
Bands scheduled to perform include: Shelly Waters (the “Swamp Pop Princess”), Curley Taylor & Zydeco Trouble, Felix y Los Gatos, Curley Taylor & Zydeco Trouble.
The event is $10 per person, but free for Gold Pass Members and children ages 12 and under. For more information, click here.
