Last week, Holy City Sinner let you know about the weekly promotions the Charleston RiverDogs franchise would be offering to fans at all home games during the 2014 season. The team has now released a list of their “one-off” promos, which you can view below:

  • April 7: Opening Night
    • Magnet schedule with detachable RiverDogs car magnet giveaway
    • Post-game fireworks
  • April 9: Education Day
    • Early start time to accommodate field trips to the park
  • April 11: Air Force Night
  • April 13: Dog Days & Kid’s Opening Day

    • Bring your pooch to the park
    • Kids receive a free RiverDogs t-shirts (first 1,000 through the gates).
  • April 30: Education Day
    • Early start time to accommodate field trips to the park
  • May 1: Holy City Sinner Meet-up at The Joe
    • Not an official RiverDogs event, but they are providing discounts tickets for all HCS readers
    • Thirsty Thursday
  • May 4: Irish Night
    • Bagpipes, pots of gold, and Gaelic games. Fans encouraged to wear green.
  • May 11: Dog Days
    • Bring your pooch to the park
  • May 12: Youth Baseball and Softball Night
    • Youth baseball and softball players will parade around the field before the game
  • May 15: Nurses Night
    • The RiverDogs will salute local RNs
  • May 28: Firefighter Appreciation Night
    • Tri-county firefighters and first responders will be saluted
  • May 29: Military Appreciation Nights
    • Salute to those who served or are serving in the military
  • May 30: Boy Scout Night
    • Scouts of the Lowcountry will receive recognition and will be treated to an overnight campout at The Joe following the game
  • May 31: Sweetright Brothers
    • Muppet-like characters will entertain the kids
  • June 1: Luau Night & Dog Days

    • Hawaiian themed night with a special performance by the Fire Circus (Luau-themed fire dancers)
    • Bring your pooch to the park
  • June 5: Air Force Night
  • June 7-8: Larry Doby Heritage Weekend and Salute to Negro League Baseball
    • Annual salute to some of the game’s great players including South Carolina native Larry Doby
  • June 20: Zombie Apocalypse Night
    • Fans are encouraged to dress as a zombie
  • June 21: Girl Scout Night & 13th Annual Kindness Beats Blindness

    • All Daisies, Brownies, and veteran Girl Scouts are invited for a night of baseball and activities.
    • Silent auction benefiting MUSC’s Storm Eye Institute will be held
  • June 22: Dog Days
    • Bring your pooch to the park
  • June 23: All-Lowcountry High School Baseball and Softball
    • Team recognition and player of the year ceremonies
  • June 24: Terrible Tuesday
    • “Long lines, terrible in-game entertainment and promotions, and the worst music you’ll hear at a ballgame all year! It’s Unsatisfaction Guaranteed!”
  • July 4: Independence Day Fireworks Celebration
    • Post-game fireworks
  • July 9: Big Splash Day
    • “Be prepared to get wet, plain and simple”
  • July 16: Holiday Celebration
    • A year’s worth of holidays in one night. Each inning will be a different holiday, from New Year’s Eve during pregame to Christmas in the 9th inning.
  • July 18: Air Force Night
  • July 19: Military Appreciation Nights
    • Salute to those who served or are serving in the military
  • July 20: Pirates & Princess Night
    • Kids will work together to find The Joe’s hidden treasure.
  • July 21: Business Man’s Specials
    • Take a client or a co-worker for a special 12:05 “meeting” at The Joe
  • August 1: The 6th Annual Professional Baseball Scouts Hall of Fame Night
    • Newest member enshrined
  • August 2: Inflatamaniacs Appearance and Rainbows Night
    • The nflatable crew brings their unique brand of hijinks to The Joe
    • The RiverDogs will wear throwback Charleston Rainbows uniforms. Jerseys will also be auctioned off during the game.
  • August 13: Business Man’s Specials
    • Take a client or a co-worker for a special 12:05 “meeting” at The Joe
  • Aug. 15: Charleston Baseball Hall of Fame Night
    • Newest members are welcomed
  • Aug 27: Military Appreciation Nights
    • Salute to those who served or are serving in the military
  • Aug. 28: Fan Appreciation Night
    • Discounts all over the park
    • Post-game fireworks
