RiverDogs Have a Jam-Packed Opening Night Planned
***UPDATE, 4/11/14***: This game was postponed due to rain and will be made up on May 27th at 5:15 pm. This “Re-Opening Night” will feature all of the activities listed below.

The Charleston RiverDogs will play their first home game of the 2014 season on Monday night against the Greenville Drive beginning at 7:05 pm.
The Opening Night festivities will begin with a pregame parade that includes the College of Charleston cheerleaders, the North Charleston High School marching band, the South Carolina Stingrays’ mascot Cool Ray, the Citadel Bulldogs’ mascot Spike, zoo animals, the Holy City Beard and Moustache Society, and more.
The RiverDogs will be introduced after the parade as they enter the stadium on horse-drawn carriages.
The pregame festivities conclude with former American Idol contestant and local singer Elise Testone performing the Star Spangled Banner and Mayor Joseph P. Riley, Jr. throwing out the ceremonial first pitch.
Other highlights:
- Opening night will also include $1 hot dogs and $1 beers
- The first 5,000 fans at the game will receive a 2014 magnet schedule
- The stadium’s brand new videoboard and scoreboard will make their RiverDogs debut.
