Dancefx Readies “Mannequin”

On Friday, April 18th and Saturday, April 19th at the Sottile Theatre, Charleston’s Dancefx will premiere its latest performance, “Mannequin: The American Dream.”.

The dance company’s show will feature the Charleston Dance Project and Entropy Ensemble. According to a press release, the show will focus “on the skewed concept of the American dream and the perception that nothing is quite what it seems.” The performance includes live music, art, and spoken word accompanying the dancers.

The show starts at 9 pm each night, but the Adult Spring Concert can be viewed at 7:30 pm.
