Tomorrow’s Bubbly & Brew Benefits My Sister’s House
Charleston always does a magnificent job of combining booze and charities, so it should be no surprise there is another alcohol-themed fundraiser on the horizon.
The 5th Annual Bubbly & Brew event will be held tomorrow at 7 pm inside Founder’s Hall at Charles Towne Landing.
The event will benefit My Sister’s House – “a nonprofit organization that provides services, programs and resources to empower domestic violence victims and their children to live free from abuse.” Speaking of, did you know South Carolina currently ranks #1 in the nation for number of women murdered by men? Our state has more than double the national average, so it’s clear help is needed
There will be food, live music, auctions, and champagne, wine, and beer from local brewers. Singer/songwriter Bonnie Bishop will provide the tunes, but Holy City Sinner has heard that Elise Testone will join her on stage. You can sample some of Bishop’s music below.
Tickets start at $60 (before taxes and fees) and can be purchased here. For more details on the event and My Sister’s House, click here.
