mtpleasantForbes choose Mount Pleasant as one of the “25 Best Suburbs For Retirement in 2014.

The magazine praised the town’s pleasant climate, above average air quality, low crime, convenient mass transit, access to a local hospital, and the fact that the cost of living is 3% below the national average.
