The Rock Pink 5k Brings Back the 80s on Saturday
The Low Country Road Runners are at it again – a year after their Glow Trail run, the group will host the Rock Pink 5k this Saturday.
The event begins at 8:30 pm at North Charleston’s Riverfront Park and will benefit the Susan G. Komen Foundation. It will include:
- a 5K course lit with Pink LED candlelights
- Runners wearing pink glow necklaces and dressed in 80s rock gear
- a band playing 80s music at the start/finish line
- a costume contest
- a face painting table
- awards and giveaways
