Kiawah Golf Resort Named 2nd Best in the World…for Tennis

The Kiawah Island Golf Resort recently earned several high rankings from the fans of a sport other than golf. The readers of Tennis Resorts Online gave the business rave reviews and chose it as the second best tennis resort in the World.
The Wild Dunes Resort in Isle of Palms was chose as the fourth best in the world, while Hilton Head Island’s Palmetto Dunes Oceanfront Resort finished in tenth place.
Tennis Resorts Online asked vacationers to rank resorts in seventeen different categories. Those scores are then averaged to determine the best facilities in the world. This year’s winner was the Omni Amelia Island Plantation Resort in Florida.
The Kiawah resort’s ranking was thanks in part to their high marks in the following categories:
- Best Staff – # 1
- Best Overall Children’s Programs – # 1
- Best Tennis Instruction and Programming – # 2
- Best Lodging – # 3
- Best Spa – # 3
Meanwhile, Wild Dunes Resort placed high in the following categories:
- # 2 in Best Overall Children’s Programs
- # 3 in Best Tennis Instruction and Programming
