Quarterly Beer School Returns to Edmund’s Oast
Edmund’s Oast will host the next grouping of its quarterly Beer School classes beginning tonight. Classes will be held each Monday until June 23rd.
Brandon Plyler, the Charleston Beer Exchange’s manager, will once again lead the series. Take a peak at this month’s schedule:
- June 2nd: Women’s Work
- An exploration of the feminine influence on the history and future of the brewing industry.
- Guests will taste beers brewed by female brewers
- Cost is $35 per person
- June 9th: Beer and Charcuterie
- The world of cured and fresh meats
- The restaurant’s kitchen staff will explain the ancient process of preserving heritage breed meat
- Each selection will be paired with a craft beer
- $45 per person
- 6/16: Beer and Cheese
- Guests will taste beer and cheese pairings
- goat.sheep.cow has partnered with the event
- Cheeses will span a range of sources, textures, and production methods
- Guests will learn the general philosophy for pairing beers and cheese
- $45 per person
- 6/23: Sour Beer
- Sour Beer is showcased
- Notes on production and serving suggestions are given
- $35 per person
