Mellow Mushroom Locations Celebrating the World Cup with Multiple Events
Three local Mellow Mushroom locations will be partnering with the Sam Adams Brewery to host World Cup game watching parties from June 8th until July 13th. The Avondale, King Street, and Summerville locations will all participate in these viewing events. All three restaurants will offer specials on beers, discounted appetizers, and soccer themed contests.
For the duration of the 2014 World Cup, Mellow Mushroom will host a mini soccer ball scavenger hunt throughout the city. If guests find a mini soccer ball, they can bring it back to one of the three participating locations for a free mellow prize. Scavenger hunt clues will be revealed on Mellow Mushroom’s Facebook and Instagram pages.
Other World Cup events include:
- 6/8 – Foosball tables will be set up at the Mellow Mushroom on King St during Second Sunday.
- 6/12 – The official Sam Adams World Cup Kick Off Party will be held at the King St. location. Guests will be able to fill out World Cup Brackets for a chance to win a private Sam Adams patio party for up to 20 people at the restaurant. The winner will be announced on Sunday, July 13th at the Championship Party at Mellow Mushroom Avondale.
- 6/16 – All three Mellow Mushrooms will host the first watch party for Team USA.
- Throughout the World Cup guests can purchase the “All-4-One” special which includes $4 Sam Adams, Fun-Guys (Pretzel Bites), and International Beers.
- Fans who wear team gear will receive a mystery envelope that’s good for prizes to be revealed at the Championship Party.
