Charleston Makes List of Best Theatre Cities

The Holy City has made another unique list! Charleston was included in the group of ” 17 Amazing Theater Cities That Aren’t London or New York.”

PolicyMic, a new organization focused on “millennials,” placed Chucktown in the 14th spot on the list. The city’s inclusion on the list was thanks to the Spoleto Festival USA and the impressive schedules from venues like the Dock Street Theatre and Theatre 99.

Charleston was one of six U.S. cities included, while Athens, Greece topped the list. You can see the entire piece here.
