Hootie & the Blowfish’s FREE Homegrown Family Day

Hootie & the Blowfish’s annual Homegrown Weekend is just a month away and although many people know about the band’s back-to-back shows, few are aware of the event’s free Family Day.

Understandably, Hootie’s headlining gigs on both August 8th and 9th have grabbed the headlines, but their Saturday afternoon gathering should be just as exciting. The Homegrown Family Day begins at 10 am and features live music, food vendors, activity stations, freebies, a climbing wall, face painting, jump castles, balloon twisting, a clown, and much more.

The music line-up is as follows:

• 11 am: Chris Holly
  
• 11:45 am: McKenna Andrews
  
• 12:30 pm: Susto
• 1:30 pm: Kylie Odetta
  
• 2:15: Wayne Graham
• 3:15 pm: Elise Testone
  

Although the event is free, attendees are encouraged to bring school supplies to be donated to Charleston County Schools.
