James Island Candidate Forum Scheduled for Tomorrow
The James Island Messenger is sponsoring a debate and candidate forum tomorrow at the Marine Resources Research Institute Auditorium at 217 Fort Johnson Rd. Registered candidates in the Town of James Island’s “Special Election” were invited to attend the 7 pm event.
According to a press release, the forum will include a “question-and-answer, alternate format debate, bookended by opening and closing statements from the candidates.”
The forum will also include a debate between incumbent Mayor Bill Woolsey and challenger Trent Kernodle. After the event, candidates will be available to attendees until 9 pm.
