“The Best Beatles Tribute on Earth” to Play at the Music Hall
1964 The Tribute, a band Rolling Stone called “the best Beatles tribute on Earth,” will perform at the Charleston Music Hall on Friday, September 26th at 7:30 pm.
The group, which has been around since the early 80s, has performed at famous venues around the world including New York City’s Carnegie Hall and the Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Denver.
1964 The Tribute focuses their live show on the “touring years” of The Beatles, which ended in 1966. The band has been praised by everyone from Dick Clark to Allistair Taylor, the former President of Apple Records.
“1964 shows the audience what it was like to attend a Beatles concert in the early sixties,” Mark Benson, co-founder of 1964 said in a press release. “(It) generates the same feeling of happiness that is still generated by the music of The Beatles.”
Tickets for the September show at the Music Hall are already on sale here. The performance is considered to be family-friendly.
