Allagash/Stone Beer Dinner at Home Team BBQ This September

On Tuesday, September 9th, Home Team BBQ’s West Ashley location will host a special dinner featuring beers from the Stone and Allagash brewing companies. The event will begin at 7 pm and is part of the 2014 Charleston Beer Week.

Guests will be treated to a four course tasting menu featuring head-to-head match-ups of new and rare beers paired with BBQ. Food items will include beef ribs with street corn and salsa verde and smoked pig head torchon-tots with seasonal salad.

Brews match-ups will include:

• Allagash’s Golden Brett American Ale vs. Stone’s Matt’s Burning Rosids Imperial Cherrywood-Smoked Saison
• Allagash’s Bourbon Barrel Black Belgian Stout vs. Stone’s Arrogant Bastard Ale in Bourbon Barrels
• Allagash’s 2013 Four Belgian Style Quadraple vs. Stone’s Quadrotriticale Belgian Quad Ale
• Allagash’s Odyssey Oak Aged Dark Wheat vs. Stone’s 18th Anniversary Double Brown IPA
