Elegant Popup Dinner Scheduled for October 4th

There are not many organizers that describe their event with a poem, but the method certainly seems appropriate for the Popup Dinner Charleston.

“Imagine a night
Where thousands
In Charleston,
Come together,
Dressed in white
With food and wine
To decorate tables
And dance
In celebration of
The unusual,
The unexpected,
And the unforgettable.”

The PopUp Dinner Charleston will be a “pop-up flash dinner picnic” that will be held in a secret location somewhere within a twenty mile radius of downtown Charleston on October 4th. Ticket holders will be told where to meet three hours before the event’s 5 pm start time. Attendees will have time to mingle as dinner starts at 7 pm. Diners are expected to dress in elegant white clothing.

Although tables and chairs are provided, the rest is up to the guests. Attendees will design table decor, decorate the premises, and will bring a picnic for their group, and something to share with new friends. During the event, wandering musicians will play before giving way to live DJs and dancing.
