The Blackwater Ukulele Festival Takes Over Cypress Gardens

On one fall Saturday, Cypress Gardens will be transformed into the ukulele capital of the world. Sure, it’s basically just a tiny guitar, but it will be the focal point of a big celebration at the Moncks Corner park.

The 2014 Blackwater Ukulele Festival will take place there on September 13th from 9 am until 5 pm. The event will include live performances, workshops, access to park attractions, vendors, and more.

This year’s schedule includes:

  • 9:00 am – Park Gates Open
  • 10:30 am – Ukulele Workshop 
  • 11:00 am – Hula Exhibition
  • 11:30 am – Charleston Hot Shots
  • 12:30 pm – Sarrah Summer
  •   1:00 pm – Nathan Miller
  •   1:30 pm – The V-Tones
  •   2:30 pm – Hula Workshop 
  •   3:00 pm – Open Mic
  •   4:30 pm – Festival Ends 
  •   5:00 pm – Park Closes
