One of the “10 Best Italian Restaurants Outside Italy” Resides in Charleston

The Daily Meal recently released a list of the “10 Best Italian Restaurants Outside Italy” and one Charleston establishment made the cut.
Trattoria Lucca found itself in the No. 10 position, just behind a restaurant in Beijing. The downtown restaurant was one of only five American eateries to be included on the list.
The website praised the “charming restaurant’s” seasonally inflected Italian dishes, farm fresh ingredients, and bold flavors. Chef Ken Vedrinski’s antipasti and tagliolini with seared North Carolina scallops and spicy five-minute marinara were singled out by The Daily Meal.
