New Belgium’s Clips Beer & Film Tour Stops in Charleston Thursday
New Belgium Brewing’s annual Clips Beer & Film Tour (formerly “Clips of Faith”) will once again take over Marion Square. This year’s edition will be held on Thursday from 7:30 pm – 10:30 pm. Admission is free.
The event is a nonprofit festival that combines “handcrafted beer with handcrafted films.” Attendees will be able to watch independent films while trying samples of some rare New Belgium brews.This year’s tour will hit 21 cities and will see the donation of 100% of the proceeds from beer sales to local nonprofits. The Holy City’s event will benefit Charleston Moves.
New Belgium beers will be available in 3-ounce samples ($1.25) or in 12-ounce pours ($5). Food from Roti Rolls, Lowcountry Creole, Mellow Mushroom, and Hello My Name is BBQ will be available on site.
The following New Belgium beers are expected to be available: Yuzu Berlinerweiss, Wild Dubbel, FOCOllaboration IPA, Snapshot Wheat, Gruit, Gratzer, Le Terroir, Coconut Curry Hefewiezen, La Folie, Ranger IPA, 1554, Trippel, Abbey, Blue Paddle, Shift, Tour de Fall, Rampant Imperial IPA, and of course, Fat Tire.
