The SoCal Movember Block Party Scheduled for Nov. 21st

A group of King Street restaurants and bars that are located south of Calhoun Street are ready to host their next event. That event, the South of Calhoun (SoCal) Movember Block Party, will take place on Friday, November 21st at 9 pm. The party is free to attend.

The event will feature live music, competitions, games, Holy City Brewing drafts and swag, and more. Plus, $1 dollar from each Holy City beer purchased during the Block Party will go to Movember.

Below is a list of all the participating locations and the events they’ll have:

Boone’s Bar

• Live music by Whiskey Diablo

Kickin Chicken

• Live music by Undercover Brothers (around 10:30 pm )
• Best beard and mustache competition to benefit Camp Happy Days and the Charleston Miracle League (competition around 10 pm – 10:30 pm)

King Street Grille

• DJ from 10 pm to close

Mellow Mushroom

• Live music by the Tom and John Show
• Pin the Stache contest
• Mustache face painting
• Best mustache competition

Upper Deck Tavern

• Bar golf
