HoM Fights Hunger this December with “One-Lunch, Two Ways” Campaign
Beginning on December 1st, HoM Burger Boutique will raise money for the Lowcountry Food Bank with two week-long campaigns called “one-lunch, two ways.” During the first two weeks of December, HoM will donate $1 for every lunch special sold. The $12 lunch special includes any of their gourmet burgers, fries, and a drink. Every dollar raised provides six meals for people who would otherwise go hungry this winter.
Hunger continues to be a major problem in the Charleston area as the Lowcountry Food Bank has seen a nearly twenty-five percent increase in the amount of families its served over the last 8 years. The organization serves an estimated 24,300 different people per week.
To help out, visit HoM for lunch between 11 am and 2 pm at 563 King Street.
