SoCal December Block Party featuring Coast Brewing is Scheduled for 12/19
On Friday, December 19th from 9 pm to midnight, a group of King Street restaurants and bars that are located south of Calhoun Street (SoCal) will host their third event. The SoCal businesses, along with the Coast Brewing Company, will take part in a holiday-themed block party to benefit the Charleston community.
Participating venues include:
- Boone’s
- Kickin’ Chicken
- King Street Grille
- Mellow Mushroom
- Upper Deck Tavern
Each location will have different Coast brews on tap, Coast swag, a raffle, and a variety of entertainment. Holiday attire is encouraged. Admission to the event is an unwrapped toy donation. All toy donations will be distributed to those in need throughout the Charleston community.
During the event, Mellow Mushroom will have a “Bad Santa photo area” and an art sale featuring local artists. Proceeds from the art sale will go toward buying presents for children at Charleston orphanages.
