The 8th Annual FollyGras Celebration Begins February 16th

Get those party pants ready! Starting on Monday, February 16th, Folly Beach will host an entire week of FollyGras festivities. The 8th edition of the event will once again showcase the town’s take on Mardi Gras.

Here’s a look this year’s FollyGras Schedule:

• Monday, 2/16
  • LundiGras – an Oyster Roast & Concert at the Island Grill & Bar
• Tuesday, 2/17
  • Fat Tuesday Block Party – an Oyster Roast & Concert at Jack of Cups, Drop In Deli, & Planet Follywood
• Wednesday, 2/18
  • Cochon deLait – a Cajun-style whole hog roast at Rita’s Seaside Grille
• Thursday, 2/19
  • Cochon deLait – a Cajun-style whole hog roast at Loggerhead’s Beach Grill
• Friday, 2/20
  • Masquerade Ball at the Tides Hotel featuring The Secrets
• Saturday, 2/21
  • The Main Event, FollyGras Parade & Street Party
    • Center Street will be closed to traffic from 11 am until after 5 pm.
    • Visitors can expect a day full of festivities:
      • A parade
      • Musical performances on multiple stages
      • Local food vendors,
      • Kids’ activities
      • Guests are encouraged to wear their best costumes and bring beads.
