Inaugural Brew HaHa Festival on Tap at the Performing Arts Center
The North Charleston Performing Arts Center is brewing up plenty of local talent for the first ever Brew HaHa Festival, a celebration of Charleston craft beer and comedy. The inaugural event will be held on Saturday, April 18th from 5 pm until 10 pm. Full disclosure – Holy City Sinner is a proud sponsor of this event.
Brew HaHa will feature beer tastings (including samples from Charleston homebrewers), live music, food trucks, vendors, and comedy shows from Dusty Slay and Jason Groce.
The following Charleston breweries will be on-site for the festival:

- Fat Pig Brewing Company
- Freehouse Brewery
- Frothy Beard Brewing Company
- Holy City Brewing
- Oak Road Brewery
- Palmetto Brewing
- Revelry Brewing Company
- Tradesmen Brewing Company
- Westbrook Brewing Company
Beginning on Friday, January 23rd at 10 am, area homebrewers can sign up to attend on Mellow Mushroom’s Facebook page.
Here’s a look at the live entertainment schedule:
- 5 pm: Volcanoes in the Kitchen
- 6:15 pm: The Travelin’ Kine
- 7 pm: Comedy with Dusty Slay and Jason Groce
- 7:30 pm: Jordan Igoe
- 8:45 pm: Tyler Boone
- 9 pm: Comedy with Dusty Slay and Jason Groce
Tickets are $40 and go on sale Friday, January 23rd at 10 am. Ticket price includes:
- Souvenir 8 oz sampling glass
- 8 tickets for 8 oz beer tastings
- Samples from the Homebrewer Garden
- Access to live entertainment
