The 8th Taking Flight Comic Book Show Will Be Held at The Sparrow this Saturday
This Saturday, Park Circle Comics and The Sparrow are once again joining forces to host the Taking Flight Comic Book Show.
The eighth edition of this event will feature meet and greets with artists, comics for sale, drink specials, and more. The show will be at the Park Circle bar from noon until 5 pm this Saturday.

- Aaron Hazouri – creator of The Strange Adventures of Toaster Guy
- Alex Smith (aka Sketchy McDrawpants) – comic book artist
- Kelly Ochocki – comic artist and sculptor
The show is free, but there is a suggested donation of $5 at the door. The proceeds will benefit Fresh Future Farm, a non-profit urban farm and community food operation dedicated to providing affordable and convenient access to fresh and healthy organic food and groceries.
Holy City Brewing is donating a keg of “Brown Chicken Brown Cow Milk Brown” beer to the event. 100% of theose sales of will benefit Fresh Future Farm.
