Far Out! Winestock Returns on May 16th
It’s not quite Woodstock, but the Winestock Music Festival on Wadmalaw Island will definitely have better wine and liquor. The third annual event will be held on Saturday, May 16th from noon until 5 pm.
There will be live music, wine and Firefly tastings, local food vendors, a “Best Hippie” and “Best Little Hippie” costume contest, and more. Admission is $5 per adult, children are free.
Musicians scheduled to perform include: Danielle Howle, BYOG, and Rawberry Jam.
On-site food vendors will include: Chucktown Mobile Seafood, Korki’s Kafe, Linen’s BBQ, King of Pops, Old Salt Gourmet Pretzels and Sweet Lulu’s Bakery.
Tastings are $6 for Firefly (choice of six flavors out of 26) and $5 for wines (five types). Patrons will receive complimentary glasses during both tastings.
