Spend a “Night at the Races” this Saturday

This Saturday, the Junior League of Charleston will host “Night at the Races,” the group’s Derby Gala. The event will include a live viewing of the Kentucky Derby, derby-inspired cuisine, auctions, an open bar, and live music.

Proceeds from the Gala will fund the Junior League of Charleston’s mission of promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women, and improving the community through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. The entirety of the net proceeds will be given back to the community through partnership grants to help fight hunger and homelessness.

The party starts at 4 pm and will be held at the Daniel Island Club.
