Music Hall Schedules Several Movie Screenings

d7efa4fd-9a13-436d-ba61-b3a698d391dfOnce a month, beginning on May 20th, the Charleston Music Hall will transform into the Charleston MOVIE Hall.
The venue, based on the success of the films they have screened over the last year, has decided to show at least one film a month.
Here’s a look at the current schedule:
  • May 20th at 8 pm
    • Who is Gil Scott-Heron?
      • A new film that seeks to answer that question
    • On sale now
  • June 24th at 8 pm
    • Shut Up and Play the Hits
      • 2012 documentary film that follows LCD Soundsystem frontman James Murphy from the day of the band’s final show to the morning after
    • On Sale now
  • July 9th at 8 pm
    • 3rd Annual Lebowski Celebration
    • On Sale Soon
  • August TBA
    • It Might Get Loud
      • 2008 documentary film that looks at the careers and styles of Jimmy Page, The Edge, and Jack White
  • September TBA
    • Joy Division

      • 2007 documentary about the British punk band Joy Division
  • October TBA
    • Rocky Horror Picture Show
      • 1975 musical that features elements of comedy and horror
