Folly Beach’s Center Street Beautification Day set for 5/18
On Monday, May 18th, volunteers will head to Folly Beach for Center Street Beautification Day, a project aimed at cleaning up the city’s main street just before tourist season begins. The public is invited to participate in the project, which starts at 2 pm.
The cleanup will begin at Folly River Park and continue down through the commercial district. The event will wrap at Loggerhead’s Beach Grill where volunteers are invited to stay for a cookout party. The event will include food from Sysco and live music from BYOG.
All volunteers will be given bags, gloves, and other items needed for tidying up the street.
