As it says in the post, “Each film starts around sundown, so check the Holy City Sinner calendar or the Tides Facebook page for start times.” It all depends on which movie you are interested in. The majority of the summer months start around 8:30 pm. The time is moved up as we get into the fall. Head to holycitysinner.com/events and go to the date in question or use the Location drop-down box (on the left) to select “Tides Folly Beach” to see the full list

I was just wondering how you get away with this between May & Sept., you know lights out for the turtles. We have a very small beach here that we could do the same, but all of the people with holmes on the beach fuss at us just for hanging out with a flashlight. I think it is a great idea and not knocking it. Just looking for some insight so we can do this at our beach too. Hopeing you have a delightful movies season.

That’s a good question that would have to be directed to the Tides Hotel since they are the host. I am unsure of the regulations regarding lights out for turtles, etc

Where can you park if you’re not staying at Tides? Would you still be able to park in the hotel parking lot?

    • Holy City Sinner

I’m not sure about parking at the Tides, I would check with them. Otherwise you can park anywhere. Of course, there is a fee for most lots
