CARTA Providing Free Shuttle Service for Bridge To Peace – Unity Chain Event

“CARTA will provide free shuttle service to and from the Bridge to Peace – Unity Chain event on Sunday, June 21.

The service will run approximately every 15 minutes from 7 to 9:30 p.m.

Pick-up & drop-off locations in Charleston:

1) Mary Street at the Visitors’ Center Parking Garage

2) 995 Morrison Drive, on the Conroy Street side

3) Foot of Ravenel Bridge pedestrian path on East Bay Street

Pick-up & drop-off locations in Mt. Pleasant:

1) Visitors’ Center at Waterfront Park

2) CARTA Bus Stop on Houston Northcutt Blvd. (Park at the Harris Teeter lot, for instance)

3) Intersection of Patriots Point Road and Coleman Boulevard

“The thoughts and prayers of everyone at CARTA remain with the victims and families of the recent tragedy at Mother Emanuel AME Church,” said CARTA interim executive director Jeff Burns. “We are also extremely proud of outpouring of love and support in our community which will continue with the Bridge to Peace event.”
