Leftovers: Tidbits from the Food & Bev Community
- Market Street’s Lowcountry Bistro recently introduced new lunch, dinner, and brunch menus. The new menus include many of the establishment’s most popular dishes and several new seasonal items like: Cheshire Farms Frenched Pork Chop, Grilled Ribeye Filet, Maple Leaf Farms Duck Wings, Bulls Blood Beet Hummus, a Cornmeal Oyster Po’ Boy, a Pineapple & Nutmeg French Toast Casserole, and Johns Island Heirloom Tomato BLT.
– - The Cocktail Club, in partnership with skirt! magazine, will host a Summer Punch Cocktail Class on Saturday, July 11th at noon. Participants will learn how to create cocktails featuring spirits like vodka and champagne for light and refreshing punch recipes. Small bites will be provided.
Tickets are $25 per person plus tax and can be purchased here. On July 7th, The Ocean Room at the Sanctuary will be hosting a Wine Dinner with Gavin Chanin of Chanin Wines. The event will include a reception and a four-course dinner. The fun starts at 6:30 pm and costs $95 per person excluding tax and gratuity. - Starting this Saturday and running the duration of the Summer Barbecue Series, meat lovers can pick up John Lewis’s legendary BBQ to-go from Revelry Brewing. Orders can be placed online at LewisBarbecue.com and then picked up each Saturday between 11:30 – 11:45 am.
