- Cupcake DownSouth donated $5,659.43 to the Mother Emanuel Hope Fund from the sale of the company’s “Charleston Love” Cupcakes.
- This Thursday, Frank Lee and Russ Moore from Slightly North Of Broad (SNOB) will be at Butcher & Bee with head chef Chelsey Conrad for an evening of summer fare. Each restaurant will serve up their best southern vegetarian offerings in one place.
- Basico’s Summer Cookout Series has been retooled and rescheduled for August 13th. The Ultimate Summer Cookout with feature chefs Jacques Larson, Graham Dailey, and Russ Moore.
- The Eighth Annual Gourmet & Grapes Culinary Extravaganza benefiting the Hollings Cancer Center at the Medical University of South Carolina is set for February 19-21, 2016, at The Sanctuary at Kiawah Island Golf Resort. The event showcases local and regional cuisine paired with wines from around the world.
- Indaco is turning two, and to celebrate, the restaurant will offer specials on Wednesday, August 5th, from 5 to 10 pm. Patrons can enjoy three courses for $35.
