Third Annual Charleston Beer Week Scheduled for September
The 3rd Annual Charleston Beer Week will be held from September 13th through September 19th at numerous venues throughout the Holy City area.
The event celebrates the area’s successful craft beer scene, which continues to grow. The Charleston area now has nine production breweries (and many more in development), three brewpubs, and a variety of craft beer-centric bars, restaurants, and retail stores.
CHSBeer.org’s Chrys Rynearson and Timmons Pettigrew, and Caleb Taylor from Summerville’s Homegrown Brewhouse, are spear-heading this year’s celebration, which will coincide with Charleston Restaurant Week and the Charleston Watersports Fest.
The celebration is expected to include 42 events and event announcements are ongoing. Events will be announced via the Charleston Beer Week website and social media channels.
