Cocktails & Cufflinks Charity Bachelor Auction Scheduled for 8/15

This summer is about to become a little steamier, especially for the ladies. “Cocktails & Cufflinks,” a charitable bachelor auction will return downtown on Saturday, August 15th at 7:30 pm. The event, which will also feature a silent auction, will be held at the Charleston Visitor Center at 375 Meeting Street.

Besides the eligible men up for live auction, there are plenty of other (nonhuman) items to bid on during the silent auction. The silent auction will feature:

• 4-course meal for two with wine pairings at Burton’s
• Other gift certificates/passes to spas and restaurants
• Paintings
• Jewelry
• Weekend Stay at the Mills House for 2
• Travel experiences
• Sunset cruises
• Fishing charters
• Tours

Ladies Enriching the Community (LETC), a nonprofit whose mission is to “enhance the Charleston Community through a life-long commitment to education, economic and cultural empowerment,” is hosting the event. Proceeds will provide financial resources for LETC to continue its community-based programming.

This year’s featured bachelor is David Aylor.
