The July SoCal Block Party is Friday

On Friday, a group of King Street restaurants and bars located south of Calhoun Street (SoCal) will host their tenth event. The businesses, along with the Brooklyn Brewing Co., will kick off the festivities at 10 pm.

Participating venues include:

• Kickin’ Chicken
• King Street Grille
• Mellow Mushroom
• Upper Deck Tavern

A $1 from each Brooklyn Brewing Co. beer sold will go to the Teachers’ Supply Closet. Plus, there will be raffles, entertainment, swag giveaways, and live music. There is no admission cost for the event.
