The Grape Stomping Festival Returns on 8/29

Grape_StompFor the 12th straight year, Irvin~House Vineyards invites the public to attend the Grape Stomping Festival on Saturday, August 29th from noon until 5 pm.

The event includes live music from Pierce Eden & the Dirty Work and Rawberry Jam, local craft vendors, food trucks and kids’ activities like jump castle, face painting, and hula hoops.

Food vendors will include Chucktown Mobile Seafood, Coastal Crust, Home Team BBQ, Korki’s Cafe, Sweet Lulu’s Bakery, Old Salt Gourmet Pretzels, King of Pops ,and Ben & Jerry’s.

The festival will also include the popular “Lucy Look-A-Like” and grape-stomping contests. The latter consists of teams of two who will compete to see who can produce the most juice from 20 pounds of grapes in three minutes. During the festival, the Firefly Vodka distillery and Irvin~House winery will be open for tastings. Plus, Wine-a-ritas will be available for purchase.

Admission is $10 per car with a portion of the proceeds being donated to Pet Helpers and Frierson Elementary School. Click here for more information.
