Local Pop-up Book Shop Seeking Funds

A new Charleston-based pop-up book shop recently launched a crowdfunding campaign to help get the business up-and-running.

The shop, Itinerant Literate, was founded by Christen Thompson and Julia Turner, Denver Publishing Institute graduates who now reside in the area. The duo’s goal is to create a full-service mobile bookstore.

The Indiegogo campaign was created to raise funds for an Airstream trailer, shelving and storage for books, and other business necessities. Fundraising ends on Wednesday, October 7th.
