Glass Onion to Host Charity Beverage Tasting on 9/2
On September 2nd, The Glass Onion will begin a series of monthly on-site beverage tastings.
The first such event will feature Italian wines paired with small bites for $10 per person. Bottles of the wine will also be available for purchase.
Some of the featured wines include Roero Arneis 2013 Anterisio and Icardi La Rosa Selvatica.
Chef Chris Stewart will serve seasonal snacks like pickled okra with pimento cheese, shrimp toast, and deviled eggs.
Five dollars from each ticket will be donated to The Green Heart Project, a community-based volunteer organization that integrates school farms as outdoor classrooms in an effort to teach students the virtues of hard work, respect, and success.
Wednesday’s beverage tasting will take place from 5 pm until 7 pm.
