The East Cooper Meals on Wheels “Ball Fall” is this Sunday
This Sunday, East Cooper Meals on Wheels will host “The Ball Fall” at 3 pm at Awendaw Green. The fundraiser will include a golf ball drop, live music, BBQ competition, disc golf, family activities, and more.
The “Ball Fall” involves a ladder truck from the Awendaw Fire Department dropping hundreds of golf balls from high off the ground. The ball that lands closest to a pre-determined target wins at least $1,000. Contest golf balls will be available at the event, but can be purchased in advance for $10 each.
You do NOT need to be present to win the ball drop. So, even if you can’t attend this Sunday, you can still sponsor golf balls.
Proceeds will benefit East Cooper Meals on Wheels, a charity that serves meals to those who are homebound and unable to provide for themselves.
Parking at the event is free and guests are encouraged to bring their own coolers, snacks, beverages, and chairs.
