New Belgium’s Clips Beer & Film Tour Returns to Charleston
On Thursday, October 15th, New Belgium Brewing’s annual Clips Beer & Film Tour will once again take over Marion Square. The fun starts at 7 pm.
The event, which is in its 6th year, is a nonprofit festival that combines “handcrafted beer with handcrafted films.” Attendees will be able to watch independent films while trying samples of some rare New Belgium brews. Up to 17 varieties will be on tap. For a complete list of the beers that will be available, click here.
The New Belgium brews will be available in 3-ounce samples ($1.50) or in 12-ounce pours ($6). Food from Roti Rolls and the Cast Iron Food Truck will also be available on site.
This year’s tour will hit 20 cities and will see the donation of 100% of the proceeds from beer sales to local nonprofits. The Holy City’s event will once again benefit Charleston Moves, a group that provides leadership to transform Charleston into a bike and pedestrian-friendly region.
