Movies & Music Come Together for October’s Rockumentary Series
On Saturday, October 17th, movies and music will come together for one rockin’ event in The Grove at Patriots Point. The Rockumentary Series, a brew new endeavor from The Bridge 105.5, 98 Rock, the Charleston City Paper, and Cinebarre will begin at noon and run until 10 pm.
The event will celebrate music and movies by showcasing local bands and concluding with a showing of the Dave Grohl documentary Sound City. The film will be shown at dark on the Cinebarre inflatable widescreen. There will also be food trucks, vendors, and kids activities.
The bands schedule to perform include Gaslight Street, Katie Rose, Haley Mae Campbell, Travelin’ Kine, and HoneySmoke.
Food trucks scheduled to be on site include: Dashi, BacnMeCrazy, King of Pops, Cinebarre Food Truck, Fauzia’s Kitchen, and the Mac Daddy Food Truck.
Tickets are $5 in purchased in advance or $10 at the door.
