Bittermilk is a Good Food Awards Finalist

Bittermilk, the local company that makes hand-crafted cocktail mixers, was among the finalists included in the upcoming 2016 Good Food Awards.

The Good Food Awards “honor people who make food that is delicious, respectful of the environment, and connected to communities and cultural traditions.”

Bittermilk is a finalist in the Spirits category thanks to their Oaxacan Old Fashioned. The mix celebrates the flavors of Oaxaca, (“weh-HAH-ken”) Mexico and features dried Mexican chilis, cocoa nibs and spices, and raisins. It is also aged with cocoa husks.

Winners will be announced during a ceremony on January 15, 2016. You can see all the other finalists here.
