“Minus Street – Portraits of Charleston” Debuts Tomorrow

The series, “Minus Street – Portraits of Charleston,” is based on a heavy edit of thousands of photographs, taken primarily on Upper King Street and surrounding areas. While working on the 8×12 black and white prints, Hart also spoke with the subjects and documented addresses, trees, and buildings to get a true feel for the everyday streets of Charleston. He chose his favorite interactions from those prints and created some 30×24 paintings.
