33rd Lowcountry Oyster Festival Scheduled for 1/31/16
The annual Lowcountry Oyster Festival at Boone Hall Plantation will be held on Sunday, January 31, 2016 from 10 am until 5 pm. This year marks the 33rd anniversary of the Greater Charleston Restaurant Association’s iconic event.
The event, which has been named one of the “top 20 events in the southeast” by the Southeastern Tourism Society, includes over 80,000 (!!!) pounds of oysters; Oyster Shucking and Oyster Eating contests; live music; wine and beers; a Children’s Area; and a Food Court showcasing a variety of local restaurants.
Ticket options include:
- General Admission: $17.50 in advance or$25 day of event
Food & beverage tickets sold separately
Bucket of oysters: $12.
- VIP: $100
- Includes VIP lane at entry gate, VIP Tent Access with food, beverages, and oysters
- Children ten and under: free with paying adult.
