492 Launches New Winter Menu

492_day boat scallopsRecently, popular King Street restaurant 492 launched a new winter menu, featuring some seasonally-influenced dishes.

Here are the menu additions, broken up category:

  • “From the Sea”
    • The Daily Catch Dish is now Cobia ($26)
      • Served with butternut squash, amaranth polenta, and lime
    • Seared Day Boat Scallops entrée (right, $29)
      • Served with cauliflower, granola, and a caper-apricot emulsion
  • “From the Land”
    • Beef short rib ($24)
      • Served with shallots, smoked white bean puree, and apple cider jus
    • Lamb pave ($28)
      • Served with golden beets, fingerlings, and green olives
  • Desserts
    • Dark ginger cake with roasted pineapple, white chocolate and miso
    • Chocolate napoleon with smoked mascarpone, Frangelico, and maple.

492 is open seven days a week, Sunday through Wednesday from 5 pm to 10 pm and Thursday through Saturday from 5 pm to 11 pm.
