Victor Social Club Celebrates Chinese New Year with 2 Nixons Pop-Up

On Monday, February 8th, Victor Social Club, a cocktail lounge on Hutson Alley, will celebrate the Chinese New Year with Charleston pop-up ramen vendor 2 Nixons. The event will be held between 6 and 8 pm.

Here’s a look at the evening’s menu:

• Peking Duck Ramen with grilled duck confit, crunchy skin crumb, umami oil, hoisin tare, pickled cucumber, pickled & smoked wood ear mushroom, scallion and egg ($14.75)
• Szechuan Tsukemen with black vinegar, chili broth, dried shitake dipping broth, Szechuan cucumbers, smoked scallion ginger oil, scallion, fried alliums (garlic & onions) and Szechuan bomb ($13.95)
• New Fashioned with Knob Creek bourbon, lychee, apricot, ginger, cara cara orange and brandied cherry

All ramen proceeds will go towards 2 Nixons’ mission of transforming from a pop-up into a full-service ramen restaurant in Charleston.
